  • Excellent exposé of the Baltimore school closing activities, and the extent to which it may not be necessary, and is carried out in a way that basically sidelines the communities which use these schools and in which these schools are located. Good to hear mostly the voices of the students themselves, their parents, and some teachers and the education expert from NY – in addition to the School Headquarters rep, Michael Sarbanes. Seeing this makes one want to learn the effects of school closings in cities around the US, like Baltimore – and any innovative alternatives which include more community uses for existing school buildings.
